This world is desperate.
This world is dark.
The deepest recesses of hell in our own backyard.
The tapestry of our hearts fringed with bitter adversity on every level.
Hearts black as a moonless night.
Steeped in sin and unrighteousness from the day we were conceived.
It surrounds us, of ourselves we have no hope.
Narry a glimmer of light resides in our world.
Given to us was a paradise.
A garden within which our every need was met with ease.
The relationship between God and man beautifully intertwined.
Intimate and devoted.
Until doubt was allowed a foot in the door.
Until the thought of self glory entered the heart of the created.
Glory only meant for the Creator.
Just like that it was severed.
Dooming the rest of creation for the duration of the world's turning.
Man placed himself at odds with the Almighty.
No matter how much he tried his righteous deeds could not satisfy the just wrath of God.
Without intervention from God we are eternally lost.
