Red and Blue make Purple

“Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me. “Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Here lately there has been an immense amount of division. Arguing about morality, real and fake, is turning friends into enemies. We have lifted up these beliefs into a false savior. Neither of these candidates are the savior. They are just people. If anything this should push us to reflect on our own hearts. As of the past few generations we have created a stack of sins more than a mile high. None of us are exempt from the guilt. Grandparents are just as guilty as the grandchildren. The pet sins of our lives must be abolished and we need to turn to the only Savior, Jesus Christ. Let’s not forget that we are not the perfect invincible beings that we think we are and let us repent of our sins. To let the devil drive a wedge between us like this is leaving the gates wide open for the church to be attacked. After all if you’re watching the right hand then do you know what the left is doing? I can tell you what it’s doing. It’s trapping people in isolation and chaining up prisoners to their secret sins. All because they lost focus of the main thing that unifies us as children of God. Our goal isn’t a political agenda it’s to go and glean souls for the Lord. Everything else will pass away and become meaningless in the end. The people who are believers like you will be with you forever, as will the souls you lead to the Lord. Don’t let the reds and blues blind you to the priorities of obeying God. Because red and blue when they work together make purple. Purple is the color of royalty, the royalty of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is above every name and to whom every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭1‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
